Two weeks ago we had Words and Beginnings. Today I am being asked to chat with you about New Beginnings and Change. So, if you have followed me for a few weeks now you will have got to know the way I work and how I like to look deeper into words. Let us start with ‘change’, what is change – as I say this I feel like a scientist dissecting the object of study with the need to delve deep and uncover all that is.
Today I am drawn to the definition of ‘change’ via Definition of Change at Dictionary.com www.dictionary.com/browse/change Change, alter both mean to make a difference in the state or condition of a thing or to substitute another state or condition. To change is to make a material difference so that the thing is distinctly different from what it was: to change one's opinion. [‘Mean’ here meaning a constant.]
Why is it that we take comfort from the things familiar to us, the things that do not change? Is that ‘fear’ based in our reptilian brain from the days of need to know where and when we could find food etc.?
Knowing when we need to follow that sequence of thought that springs the ‘chain reaction’ within us and when it is un-necessary is a balancing act of being comfortable or uncomfortable with change.
I fear I am getting in a little too deep for my scope of knowledge with this but my guides tell me to keep going; and I trust my guides.
We can choose to see change as a negative or positive thing in life but ultimately change exists. When you really think about it, what doesn’t change in life? In the end everything changes for that is the essence, the vibration of what living is all about. If this makes you feel ‘off’ question why it is you maybe struggle with change in your life?
Life is about creation and that is not about standing still. Groundhog days spring to mind and the heaviness and uncomfortable feelings that that brings to us, stopping us from moving forward with projects or life in general.
Penultimately I want to share the numerology of this week 028 = 10 the number of new beginnings! How appropriate and again acknowledgement of the greater guidance that is available to all of us should we choose to open ourselves up to receive it. In Tarot, Major Arcana, the ten is The Wheel of Fortune [it] reminds you that the wheel is always turning and life is in a state of constant change. Then in the Suits [Minor Arcana], 10 – Completion, end of a cycle, renewal. The story of life, endings and new beginnings! Both quotes from https://www.biddytarot.com/tarot-card-meanings
Lastly, I noticed the time as I uploaded the New Beginnings card above; 12:21 on this the 21st Day of August, the 21s/12 reduce to 3,3 & 3 which is a constant sign for me that all is as it should be. From Joanne at Sacred Scribes 21 means: Angel Number 21 is a message from your angels for you to be aware of your thoughts as they are manifesting your ideas and beliefs into reality. Angel Number 21 encourages you to be optimistic and maintain a positive attitude regarding current changes and/or circumstances in your life, as this will help to manifest your desired results. http://sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/p/index-numbers.html
As an aside, 12:21 is often highlighted to me and I see it as a sign to ‘reflect’ on whatever is around me at that time.
Oh, and in case you were wondering: Angel Number 10 brings a message to step forward in new directions and look to new beginnings with an optimistic and positive attitude as they will prove to be auspicious and beneficial to you in many ways, now and in the future.
As always, [or until something changes ;-)] Much love Namaste Patricia xx
