When computers work, they are great - when they don't, ugh!!! I have a tablet with keyboard that I have been using these last two years as it is light and easy to use. But, I got a bug - even my McAfee couldn't fix it so it meant going back to factory settings to get rid of it. Thankfully, as it only has a small memory, I had most of my files backed up to the cloud or on pen drives/memory sticks. Managed to reset but then came the hunt for all the different passwords I would need. Note to self, better admin required - must try harder!
Now I am having problems with the battery, it is rumbling on but not holding the charge as it once did. I had intended on getting it checked out when I should have been home in April but of course that didn't happen, nor did the June visit or the September visit.
Thankfully I also have a laptop. I had stopped using it and the last time I had tried to switch it on - it didn't! This week the universe is being kind to me as I have been able to get it going again and without the need to take it back to factory settings. I just have an awful lot of administration of files saved to be done - still it will keep me out of mischief.
It doesn't help that I have three different accounts and therefore three times the amount of resetting everything. Still, I am lucky to have the technology I have and be able to use it - I would be lost without it. Doing my daily card readings via my mobile was a real pain and that is why there has been no Wednesday Weekly Wisdoms. I still have to access my med messages emails. Poco a poco, bit by bit, little by little - I will get there.
Until then, thank you for your patience and my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
