Card of exploration, free spirited, idealism, inspiration and philosophy. Guidance to open to the flow of life and making peace between heart and mind. Finding balance, the middle way, adapting and moving on. Learning the art of patience and compromise. Being open to change and finding our way forward. Card of the planet Jupiter in the Sun sign of Sagittarius which it rules. Lucky planet Jupiter also known for tolerance, while within the area of Sagittarius brings out the inspirational and is associated to education, foreign cultures, publishing, and travel to name a few. It is a day of strong values regarding freedom of movement and expression. Today I wish to express by sharing a passage from the meaning of this card in The Pictorial Key To The Tarot by A. E. Waite: 'It is called Temperance fantastically, because, when the rule of it obtains in our consciousness, it tempers, combines and harmonises the psychic and material natures. Under that rule we know in our rational part something of whence we came and whither we are going.'
