They are of the fire element filing us with confidence and action, enthusiasm and fun, excitement and inspiration. They take control, explore, our pioneers. In the suit of cups this energy pertains to the water element, to deep feelings and passionate emotions. Of intuition and nurturing, empathetic and self-protective. Water can put out a fire yet fire can turn water into steam. There is an alternative to all things in life. This is why we have to be King of ourselves. We have journeyed this far in life, we have learned, but have we been naïve in believing that others have our best interests at heart? Yes, some do but not all. Instead of allowing ourselves to be dragged down into a spiral of fear, we can get to know ourselves better. In doing that we will start to pull towards us those of the same energy. Be the King of you, take authority for self, be an example to others through leadership, let your light shine out into the world. If there are things you don’t like then I am sure that there are others out there that don’t like it too. Rather than spreading discourse, let us lift ourselves to a position worthy of a king today and protect ourselves and others from hearing more negativity, manipulation by the oppressors of this world, if we live in fear we will receive more fear etc. Let us use our energy to lift up the world into the only worthwhile energy which is one of Love.
