Shadowscapes Tarot Cards-Mun Law & Moore

Sunday: The Shadowscapes Companion book says that 'There is grief and heartbreak in the Three of Swords. There is a feeling of loneliness, separation and isolation. There is no one to give solace or lend a hand.' The card is very graphic and we can feel the pain of the swan in its distress. It is time to bring closure to deep hurts that we hold within us. They do not serve us. They hold us in a state of pain and wretchedness in a life that is meant to be joyous. When we hold onto pain we extend the suffering far beyond the initial shock and hurt of whatever happened. Some of this is learned behaviour and anything learned can be unlearned. It can also be the ploy of the ego mind that celebrates the drama of it all. Yes it is good to purge any pain and cleanse it out of ourselves but how many times should we have to do this? Let it go! Would you want anyone you loved to live in extended misery? So why do we do it to ourselves? Some times harsh truths need to be realised in this life but we do ourselves no favours if we hold onto that energy. This card is associated to the planet Saturn in sun sign of Libra. Saturn shows us where we limit ourselves due to fears or insecurities while Libra is always searching for balance and justice and that includes ourselves. Are you being fair to yourself today?
